Earthworks Cabernet Sauvignon 2005: On the nose, much less eucalyptus than you'd expect from an Aussie Cabernet. Slightly peppery/herbal aromas. Dark fruits on the front of the palate with a complex earthy back bone. Medium bodied, many tannins, but fine.

Cycles Gladiator Cabernet Sauvignon: This is an awesome cab for $10. If you've ever been in a barrel room in a winery, you'll recognize the nose instantly. It smells like vanilla and wine soaked oak. Chocolate, cassis and blackberry on the palate. Fine. easy tannin.
